Ever dream of getting up close and personal with an Oscar? Now you can hold one -- and get a photo to prove it. All you have to do is show up at Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal anytime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. today and tomorrow, and you'll not only see the actual Oscars that will be awarded Sunday to the best actor and best actress winners, but you can get your picture taken for your social-network-boasting endeavors. You'll also get to peep Billy Wilder's 1950 best picture Oscar for "The Apartment" and see a display of Oscars in various stages of completion, as manufactured by R.S. Owens & Co. in Chicago. Way cool.

And if you check in at "Meet the Oscars, Grand Central" on Foursquare using your cell phone and show it to a staffer there, you'll get a limited-edition 83rd Academy Awards Poster Collection poster. Want more? Tweet your "Meet the Oscars" photo along with #Oscars to @TheAcademy, and you'll be entered to win an official Oscars T-shirt.
