A new adult-only flight and cruise package from JetBlue and Virgin Voyages sold out in less than two hours after its launch last week, and the companies are already looking at ways to bring it back. The "Do Not Disturb" experience paired a dedicated charter flight from Kennedy Airport to Fort Lauderdale with an adults-only cruise to the Bahamas.

A JetBlue representative told Newsday in an emailed statement that the airline hopes to bring back similar experiences in 2027, subject to government approval for the charter flights. Virgin Voyages is exploring plans to offer the experience multiple times a year and expand to additional cruise departure cities.

“Selling out in two hours gave us a pretty clear answer,” Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages said. “Now we’re exploring ways to bring it back multiple times a year with JetBlue Vacations and expand to more destinations we sail from, like Los Angeles, Seattle for our Alaska voyages, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. We’ve given people a taste of what this could look like, and we’d love to give them more.”

Long Islanders interested in a getaway without kids don't necessarily have to wait for another flight-and-cruise package. These three adults-only properties offer a getaway within three hours driving distance.
