Mariah Carey's Christmas pop-up bar returns to NYC

Mariah Carey is bringing Christmas cheer back to Manhattan, with festive cocktails and glittery holiday decorations in her seasonal pop-up bar just a train ride from Long Island.
Mariah Carey’s Holiday Bar opens Nov. 19 at Moxy Chelsea, marking its third year in New York. The experience is expanding to eight cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Houston and San Diego, with London serving as its first international location.
The bar will feature over-the-top holiday decor, photo ops and cocktails made with Black Irish, Carey’s cream liqueur brand. Past editions have played "All I Want for Christmas Is You" and other holiday tracks from Carey throughout the night and featured a "Letters to Mariah" station where guests could write their holiday wish lists.
For the first time, the pop-up lands at Moxy Chelsea (105 W. 28th St.; moxychelsea.com; 212-514-6699), making it easy for Long Islanders to plan a full holiday outing near Penn Station. Browse holiday displays at Macy’s Herald Square (151 W. 34th St.; macys.com; 212-695-4400), see the Madison Square Park holiday tree (11 Madison Ave.; madisonsquarepark.org; 212-520-7600), or dine at Eataly Flatiron (200 Fifth Ave.; eataly.com; 212-229-2560), where the marketplace and rooftop dining spaces transform into a winter wonderland.
