One day of free parking near JFK

SmartPark JFK --- an off-site facility -- is giving away one free day of parking to everyone who makes a parking reservation on its website now through Oct. 15. That's a savings of $13.95 plus tax, a total of $15.40, off your bill for bookings of less than two weeks. The best thing about this deal is that there isn't a minimum stay. This morning, I went through the motions and fake-booked a one-day reservation. My total due was $0.00.

Those reserving for two weeks will get two free days; three weeks, three free days.

The lot is at 123-10 S. Conduit Ave., South Ozone Park, with shuttle service to JFK. It's open 24 hours every day.
