Overstock.com books discounted vacations

DISCOUNT GETAWAYS Overstock.com joined the chorus of Web retailers offering "deeply discounted" vacations for online booking. Thirty travel deals are posted on the test version of its site, vacations.overstock.com, for trips available June through December. Among them: a six-night stay at the Westin Aruba in October priced at $521.99 a person, based on double occupancy -- airfare, hotel taxes and fees not included. As of press time, Overstock's rate was about $175 less than booking directly on Westin.com.
