Rock-bottom cruise, flight deals

Our friends over at Travelzoo have alerted me to two great deals this morning, and one is bound to appeal to you, whether you're in the mood for a tropical vacation or a visit to the other side of the pond.
Airfare from New York to London, which I typically consider a steal when offered in the low $600s roundtrip, is going for a mere $206 each way -- $412 roundtrip -- on British Airways. The sale -- on British Airways -- is offered exclusively through Travelzoo for travel between Oct. 20 and Dec. 14 and Dec. 24 and March 26, and includes the Thanksgiving and Valentine's Day long holiday weekends. If you're more the lay-in-the-sun type, consider one of two seven-day cruises from New York for just $369. To put this into perspective, I would ordinarily recommend you pounce on fares that work out to less than $100 a day.
