Time for all things scary, creepy and crawly all over again. This Halloween season shapes up with a varied mix of things to do in the city, whether you're a kid or just a kid at heart. Here are our five picks for the big weekend.

1. GHOST HUNTERS

WHAT Watson Adventures' "Ghosts of Greenwich Village Scavenger Hunt." Get out your flashlights to scavenge the ghost-haunted streets of the Village along with the shades of Aaron Burr, Jimmy Walker, Edgar Allan Poe and Mark Twain.

3. DANCING WITH THE GHOULS

4. TRACKING A GHOSTLY FAMILY

WHAT The Merchant's House Museum. The Tredwell family were the owners of this classic Village house, and although the last family member died in the 1930s, some say they never left. According to reports, spooky goings-on have plagued the house through the decades. This season take a candlelight tour and check out the ghostly goings-on.

5. TRICKS AND TREATS AT NATURAL HISTORY

WHAT What better place to go trick or treating than among the dinosaurs and other creepy crawlers at the museum? Kids take over, clad in costume; there will be pumpkin carving and other spooky arts and crafts, too.
