Travel alert for St. Lucia and St. Vincent

The State Department issued a travel alert for St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the wake of extensive damage caused by Hurricane Tomas that has closed major bridges and roadways. Cell phone communication is limited. Although both airports on St. Lucia are open, U.S. citizens should contact their tour operator, airline or hotel for further information before traveling.
