Your pet can fly in the cabin on Frontier
Frontier Airlines announced earlier this week that it will start allowing customers to bring small pets into the cabins aboard its planes for $75 each way. Although that might seem convenient, it's important to note that that's more than the low-cost airline charges humans for some flights.
Pets that qualify -- small dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and small birds -- must remain in a carrier that will fit under the seat in front of passengers, and customers must supply up-to-date heath documentation for their animals.
Larger pets still can fly as cargo for $150.
