CooCoo expands to Metro-North

CooCoo, the Huntington-based text message scheduling service, has expanded its MTA train schedule service to Metro-North Railroad.

CooCoo provides train schedules to passengers on the go by texting 266266 (which spells CooCoo).

Using any cell phone, send the numeric text along with the names of two stations — for example, Rye and Grand Central, and the response will bring the Metro-North schedule for those stops.

There is no charge from MTA or CooCoo for the service, though standard phone service fees apply.
