E. Reginald Pope of Freeport, local director of Education for a Better America in Hempstead and vice president, Minority Students in Action at SUNY Empire State College at SUNY Old Westbury, is president.
Terenna Venay Williams of Uniondale, CEO of Glory House Inc. in Uniondale, is vice president.
Ujima A.H. Jame of Freeport, former president of Freeport Family & Friends Inc., is secretary.
Annette Dennis of Freeport, senior deacon at New Life Christian Ministries in Freeport, is treasurer.
Nancy Engelhardt of Hicksville, founding director of the Energeia Partnership at Molloy College in Rockville Centre, has been appointed to the board of the Empire Justice Center at Touro Law School in Central Islip.
