Michele Dean of Smithtown has been hired as senior vice president and chief lending officer at NEFCU in Westbury. She was former head of lending at Bethpage Federal Credit Union.

Grace P. Chan of Manhattan has been appointed assistant superintendent for business in the Lindenhurst Union Free School District. She had a similar job in the Port Washington district.
Christopher Hoisik of Carle Place has been appointed assistant principal at the Birch School in Merrick. He taught grades 3-5 in the Merrick district.
Jennifer Carere of Oakdale, assistant principal of the West Babylon Junior High School, has been named principal of Santapogue Elementary School in West Babylon.
