Michael J. Spolarich has been promoted to executive vice president and chief credit officer at Empire National Bank in Islandia. The Sag Harbor resident was promoted from senior vice president and senior loan officer.

Casey Mitchell of East Setauket was named to the special assets team at New York Business Development Corporation in Melville. She previously worked as a part-time administrative assistant within the organization, a financial institution granting loans for small businesses.

Jamie R. Prisco has joined Goldberg Segalla's Garden City office as an associate. The Syosset resident was previously an associate at Lewis Johs Avallone Aviles in Islandia.

Andrea B. Friedman of Manhattan has been made a partner at Friedman & Friedman, Attorneys at Law. She was an associate at the firm, which was formerly called Sari M. Friedman, and will work out of the Garden City and Manhattan locations.
