Long Island hires and promotions: Great Neck Library names new trustee

Robert M. Schaufeld of the Village of Thomaston has been elected trustee of the Great Neck Library. He is president of the Public Access Television Corp. in Lake Success and an attorney in Great Neck as well as general counsel to All Round Foods Bakery Products in Westbury, Karlitz & Co. in Manhattan and the Altmark Group in the Bronx.

Long Island Traditions, a regional folk arts and traditional architecture organization in Port Washington, has announced the appointment of two new board members.

Guy Edwards, a resident of Bohemia, is the director of the East Islip Public Library.

Dan Pollera of Baldwin Harbor and East Quogue is a professional fine art contemporary realist specializing in coastal landscapes.

DENTISTRY

Dr. Eileen Dano of Manhattan has joined That Broadway Smile, pediatric dental specialists in Massapequa. She is a recent graduate of New York University College of Dentistry in Manhattan.
