Long Island hires and promotions: Huntington Hospital

HEALTH CARE

Dr. Adam Litroff of Merrick has been named associate chairman of the emergency department at Huntington Hospital, a member of the Northwell Health system. He will also remain director of pediatric emergency medicine.

Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in Patchogue has two new hires.

Rachel E. Schnabl of Head of the Harbor has been named vice president and chief development officer. She was director of advancement and external affairs at Stony Brook University Hospital.

Cynthia Ruf of Sayville has been named vice president of branding and stakeholder relations. She was director of marketing at Northwell Health in Great Neck.

Dr. Adam Bitterman of Jericho, an orthopedic surgeon and foot and ankle specialist with a private practice in Huntington, has been added to the roster of orthopedic surgeons at Huntington Hospital.

ACCOUNTING

Ronald Storch of North Hills has joined Marcum LLP in Melville as partner and chief operating officer. He was partner in charge of operations at Berdon LLP in Manhattan.
