The Women's Fund of Long Island in Jericho has appointed two new members to its board of directors.

Janette Payne of Melville is an adjunct English instructor at Nassau Community College in Garden City.

Valerie McCarthy of Hampton Bays co-owns Dyna-Empire Inc., an aerospace component manufacturer in Garden City.

 

Robert Sweeney of Lindenhurst, former state assemblyman for the 11th District, has been appointed by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo to a four-year term on the College Council at Farmingdale State College.

Jennifer Ann Wynne of Garden City has joined Tenenbaum Law in Melville as an attorney and a CPA, handling IRS and New York State tax matters.

David C. Lee of Roslyn Heights has been hired as an associate at Carter, DeLuca, Farrell & Schmidt in Melville. He was an associate at Sills Cummis & Gross in Manhattan.
