Long Island hires and promotions: Jason Samuels, Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research

Jason Samuels of Roslyn Heights, a partner at Farrell Fritz in Uniondale, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research & Preservation.

The YMCA of Long Island in Glen Cove has appointed two new board directors.

Belinda Pagdanganan of Bay Shore is manager of government relations overseeing Suffolk County with National Grid in Brightwaters.

Lisa Rispoli of Rockville Centre, a partner at Grassi & Co. in Jericho, has been named to the board of Bethany House in Roosevelt, which provides emergency shelter and services for women and children.

Frank Wefering of Bay Shore has joined Greenman-Pedersen Inc. in Babylon, an engineering and construction services firm, as director of sustainability in Babylon and Manhattan. He owned a consulting practice in sustainable mobility and transportation.

CARE MANAGEMENT

Nicole Kelly of Hicksville has been hired as a human resources coordinator at AMR Care Group in Jericho, a care management and companion services company. She was a receptionist at World Gym in East Meadow and is a recent B.A. graduate of SUNY Purchase.

Frank Brinka of Holbrook has been hired as director of operations and news at JVC Broadcasting’s LI News Radio (103.9 FM) in Ronkonkoma. He was news director at Connoisseur Media B103 FM in Farmingdale.
