Long Island hires and promotions: LIU Post board of trustees

BOARDS & ASSOCIATIONS

Thomas M. Buonaiuto of Miller Place, president and chief operating officer of Empire National Bank in Islandia, has been appointed to the board of trustees at LIU Post (Long Island University) in Brookville.

Douglas R. Brueggemann of Northport, owner of Brueggemann Funeral Home of East Northport, has been installed immediate past president of the New York State Funeral Directors Association, Inc.

HEALTH CARE

Medical Oncology Associates of Long Island in Woodbury has two new hires.

Dr. Margarita Yarovikova of Miller Place, finished her fellowship at Stony Brook University, has joined the practice as a doctor in the practice of hematology-oncology.

Dr. Hon Cheung Chan of Jericho, a board certified hematologist-oncologist, has joined the practice. He was an attending hematologist-oncologist at Queens Hospital Center in Jamaica.

BANKING

American Community Bank has two new hires.

Darryl Payne of West Islip has been hired as vice president and regional branch manager of Suffolk county in the East Northport office. He was vice president and manager at TD Bank in East Northport.

Frank Lonardo of Kings Park has been hired as executive vice president and chief credit officer. He served in a similar capacity as senior vice president at Suffolk County National Bank in Riverhead.

REAL ESTATE

Signature Premier Properties has hired three licensed real estate agents and one licensed associate broker.

William Sauer of Smithtown has been hired as an associate broker in the Smithtown office. He held a similar position at Coldwell Banker in Huntington.

Leonard Quartararo of Northport has been hired as a sales agent in the Northport office. He held a similar position at Coldwell Banker in Northport.

Judy Berey of Commack has been hired as a sales agent in the Smithtown office. She held a similar position at Coldwell Banker in Huntington.

Rani Golan-Baldino of Dix Hills has been hired as a sales agent in the Dix Hills office. She held a similar position at Douglas Elliman in Dix Hills.
