Long Island hires and promotions: Paulette Sasso, TransFirst

TransFirst in Hauppauge, a provider of transaction processing services, has two new hires.

Paulette Sasso of Lloyd Harbor has been hired as chief human resources officer. She led human resources for Vantiv in Symmes Township, Ohio.

Nancy Disman of Melville has been hired as chief financial officer. She was CFO and chief operating officer for Cynergy Data Corp. in Melville.

NONPROFITS

EPIC Long Island in East Meadow, serving people with epilepsy, mental health challenges and developmental disabilities, has two new hires.

Barbara Green of East Norwich has joined as benefits manager. She was human resource manager for the AT&T Product Center in North Bellmore, in charge of tri-state recruitment and employee relations.

Claudia Ciatto of Copiague has been appointed new community educator. She was a consultant teacher for the Floral Park School District.
