Long Island hires and promotions: Peter Crescenti, Farmingdale State College

Peter F. Crescenti of Huntington has been promoted from staff writer-media relations specialist to media relations manager at Farmingdale State College.

Jesse Dougherty of Old Brookville been hired as head of The Green Vale School in Old Brookville. He was assistant head of school for international affairs/upper school director at Friends Select in Philadelphia.

Glen Cove School District has three new hires.

Benjamin Roberts of Clifton Park upstate is the new principal of Landing Elementary School. He was principal of Watervliet Elementary School in upstate Clifton Park.

Alexa Doeschner of Glen Cove is the new assistant principal of Glen Cove High School. She was assistant principal and testing and tech coordinator at Sunset Park High School in Brooklyn.

Allison Hernandez of Wyandanch is the new district director of special education. She was assistant superintendent of special education in the Hempstead public schools.
