Robert P. Michal of Sea Cliff, a patent and trademark attorney, has recently joined Carter, DeLuca, Farrell and Schmidt in Melville as a partner. He was a partner at Lucas and Mercanti in Manhattan.

Rivkin Radler LLP of Uniondale has hired two new attorneys.

Thomas V. DeMarco of Smithtown has joined the litigation and appeals practice group. He was an associate at Milber Makris Plousaid and Seiden in Woodbury.

Greg E. Mann of Jericho has joined the litigation and appeals practice group. He was a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Arthur D. Spatt of the Eastern District of New York. He also was a senior central staff attorney to the New York State Court of Appeals.
