Dr. Vijayapraveena Paruchuri, an internist and cardiologist who resides in Mineola, has joined Winthrop-University Hospital's Division of Cardiology in Mineola as director of the Center for Adult Congenital Heart Disease. She recently completed an advanced fellowship in adult congenital heart disease at Texas Children's Hospital, Texas Heart Institute and Baylor College of Medicine, a hub for congenital heart surgery.
