Deep South Cancer Foundation Provides Funding to Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center, in Partnership will Eli Lilly and Company
Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center has received a $10,000 grant from the Deep South Cancer Foundation to help local individuals with breast cancer.

Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center (Forge) is pleased to announce it has received a $10,000 grant from the Deep South Cancer Foundation. These funds are to help local individuals as they live life with breast cancer.
Forge exists to provide strength and direction through support, knowledge, and encouragement to survivors, co-survivors, and their healthcare professionals. Through Forge, survivors receive personalized, non-medical care focused on improving their quality of life from the day of diagnosis through the balance of life.
"With an estimated 3,960 new breast cancer survivors diagnosed each year in Alabama, Forge is focused on life-long health and the wellbeing of the individuals we serve," said Caroline McClain, Manager of Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center. "We are delighted to serve Central Alabama and partner with health systems, foundations, and other non-profits as we work to improve the quality of life for those with breast cancer and their families."
Drew Read, Executive Director of the Deep South Cancer Foundation stated, "We are pleased to have partners like Eli Lilly and Forge who are focused on making life better for people with real needs, not only globally, but right here in the Greater Birmingham area.
