The enterprise event marketing company plans to help WDCEP market its live events, a key component of its marketing strategy, both locally and nationally.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) September 30, 2015

Event Farm, an enterprise event technology company whose clients include Google, Facebook, and AOL, today announced their new partnership with the Washington DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP), an organization that promotes economic development and business opportunities for Washington, D.C. The union will allow WDCEP to better market and communicate their events to their target audience with Event Farm?s best-in-class platform.

?We?re so thrilled to partner with Event Farm on this key initiative for the Washington DC Economic Partnership,? explained Julie Weber, WDCEP?s Director of Marketing and Communications. ?Our events are integral to our marketing strategy, especially for helping the DC economic community understand the resources that we make available to them. With Event Farm?s platform, we can represent these experiences in a custom, on-brand fashion.?

WDCEP leverages live events to interact with partners, business and community leaders, and city officials on a one-to-one basis. These events also allow community members to better acquaint themselves with WDCEP, both as an organization and as the individuals who comprise it. In-person connections like these help foster and grow key relationships, critical components to community members starting or growing a new business.

?We?re looking forward to seeing WDCEP?s event marketing strategy grow and watching them reach the DC and national stages,? said Alexandra Gibson, Chief Marketing Officer at Event Farm. ?Our software will allow WDCEP to tell their story more personally, helping professionals engage with WDCEP and better learn how they can use the partnership and its resources to their companies? benefit.?

WDCEP plans to use Event Farm to market events nationwide. Locally, they will first promote their upcoming Annual Meeting + ECON Showcase, an annual celebration of Washington, DC?s economic achievements with city officials and business leaders, taking place on Friday, October 30 at the Washington Convention Center. Outside of the District, WDCEP will have expanded presence at events like SXSW, an interactive festival in Austin, TX, to showcase DC?s local start-up and business community on a national platform. Event Farm plans to join WDCEP at SXSW Interactive as part of the partnership as well.

?With this new partnership, we?re also proud to recognize Event Farm, a successful DC-based start-up, as one of our own,? noted Weber. ?Supporting local companies is very important to us, and aligns closely with our values and mission: to develop and foster business opportunities in our nation?s capital.?
