School Administrators & Principals: Nominate a Teacher for a Chance to win Free Digital Literacy Curriculum
PORTLAND, Ore. (PRWEB) April 27, 2018
During Teacher Appreciation Week 2018, May 7 through 11, Learning.com is encouraging administrators to nominate a teacher who goes above and beyond to equip their students with digital literacy skills needed for success on online assessments, in college and their future careers. Nominees can include classroom teachers, technology specialists, media specialists, and school librarians that teach digital literacy skills. Nominations are due by Friday, May 25 at 5 p.m. and can be submitted online: https://lrng.co/2HqWH3r
Thirty teachers from across the nation will be selected to win a one-year classroom subscription of EasyTech, Learning.com’s award-winning digital literacy curriculum. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.
“This contest gives principals an opportunity to recognize the teacher superheroes, at their own schools, who are helping to prepare their students for success in our increasingly digital world,” said Learning.com CEO Keith Oelrich. “Providing the winning teachers with a free subscription to EasyTech is Learning.com’s way of demonstrating our appreciation for the dedication, resources, and creativity it takes to deliver quality digital literacy instruction to students.”
To further honor the work teachers do to help students develop digital literacy skills, the company is making customizable certificates of achievement available for school administrators to complete and present to the teaching heroes who they believe truly make a difference in their schools. Downloadable superhero masks with digital literacy monikers are also available online for teachers to print and cut out, then wear and share in selfies using #teachersuperhero during Teacher Appreciation Week.
