NC Advocates for Justice Elects Local Criminal Defense Attorney as 2016-2017 President

Bill Powers has been elected President of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ), a state-wide association of attorneys and other legal professionals who protect the rights of all North Carolinians in civil and criminal matters.

Bill has long been committed to serving the legal community and his clients through his involvement with NCAJ and teaching, hosting, and chairing Continuing Legal Education throughout North Carolina. He has been a Board of Governor for more than a decade and served on the Executive Committee as Vice President of Communications and President-Elect, before being elected President.
