Open House Introduction to Sivananda Yoga Offered in Northern California in 2013 at the Yoga Farm

Sunday afternoon program is open to the community. Come and join the Yoga Farm for an asana class and an organic, vegetarian meal for a nominal donation of $10. Children are free.

Schedule
Arrival, registration 3pm
Guided Tour of the ashram grounds 3-3:30pm
Questions and Answer session 3:30-4pm
Yoga Class and Relaxation 4-6pm
Vegetarian Buffet Dinner 6-7pm
Satsang (optional) - Guided silent meditation, chanting and lecture 8-9:30pm

Class Pass
If you like the asana class, we would recommend our 8 yoga class pass available for a discounted donation of $60. Classes are held everyday, but specifically for class-pass holders on Wednesdays 4-6pm, Saturdays 8-10am, and Sundays 4-6pm.

The ashram, founded in 1971 by Swami Vishnu-Devananda in the Sierra foothills, is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers and yogis dedicated to promoting a healthy and disciplined lifestyle, which is conducive to high consciousness and individual and world peace. The ashram facility is an ideal location for all to come to learn this tradition.
