Colorado Springs tops the list of 150 cities for second year in a row while Madison cracks the top five

(PRWEB) June 14, 2018

Tuck, a robust online resource dedicated to all things sleep, published a geographic study on sleep in the United States. For the second year in a row, the report was generated using data points including sleep deprivation rates, obesity rates, unemployment, average commutes, air quality as well as ongoing construction in each city. From there, a proprietary formula is used to rank each city’s overall quality of sleep.

The 2018 version of the study detailing the methodology and complete list of the 150 ranked cities is located here:

Tuck will continue to analyze sleep issues throughout the country in a broader scale to educate the public. “In the past, sleep has been looked at as an afterthought, but it is finally receiving the recognition it deserves,” says Bill Fish, Co-Founder of Tuck, “Sleep is the third pillar of wellness to go along with diet and exercise, so bringing awareness even simply on a local level, will hopefully generate dialogue to have us all thinking about how we can make sleep a priority.”

Colorado Springs, CO (2nd year in a row)
Sioux Falls, SD
Boise, ID
Lincoln, NE
