An Abercrombie & Fitch store in Manhattan that was closed a week ago because of bedbugs has reopened.

The store in the South Street Seaport in Manhattan reopened Thursday. It was one of two stores in the city that closed because of the insects.

Abercrombie's surf-themed Hollister store in the SoHo reopened July 3, days after it was closed.

The New Albany, Ohio-based chain requested guidance from city authorities on how to get rid of the pests.

The stores were closed while Abercrombie investigated the problem with its own testing.
