Comparing iPad 2 with competitors

We’ve already seen dual-cameras, dual-core processors, HD recording and HDMI connectivity. It turns out the iPad 2 is a bit faster and has a thinner body. That’s it.
There is still no Flash, no 4G, no expandable storage (SD slot), no high resolution disply, or upgraded RAM. Oh wait, there is a fancy new "smart cover," that can turn into an iPad stand.
Droid Life put together a comparison chart of Apple's iPad 2, Motorola Xoom, LG G-Slate, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It turns out, the Motorola Xoom offers the best bang for your buck.
Unlike the iPad, the Xoom has 1080p playback; USB, HDMI, SD connectivity; 4G and 3G network connections; 1 GB of RAM, versus the iPads 128 MB; and has full web surfing support with Flash.
The Xoom is available now for $599, while the iPad is set to launch March 11 for $499.
