Westfield malls to hire hundreds of seasonal workers at job fairs

Westfield will host two job fairs this week at its South Shore and Sunrise malls as more than a dozen retailers look to fill the demand for hundreds of seasonal employees for the holiday shopping season.

The first job fair will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Westfield Sunrise, 1 Sunrise Mall in Massapequa, at the lower level Macy's court. The fair will include employment opportunities at B&D Hair Studio, Hollister, Pandora, Piercing Pagoda, PSC Security, Sears and Victoria's Secret.

The second will be on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Westfield South Shore, 1701 Sunrise Hwy. in Bay Shore, at the Lord & Taylor court. The fair will include job opportunities at JCPenney, Lord & Taylor, Macy's, Men's Wearhouse, Michael Kors, Pandora, Sephora, The Time Store and Victoria's Secret.

The first hour of each job fair, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., will be dedicated exclusively to military veterans seeking employment. The public is invited from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
