Janet Winiarski has been hired at the Bohemia-based accounting firm Cerini & Associates as supervisor of tax and business advisory services. Winiarski was most recently associated with Margolin Winer & Evens in Garden City and lives in East Northport.
HEALTH CARE
Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola announced two appointments in its division of pulmonary and critical care medicine.
Dr. Shilpa DeSouza has been named medical director of the pulmonary hypertension center. She joins Winthrop following the completion of a fellowship in pulmonary vascular disease at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Dr. DeSouza lives in Mineola.
Dr. Joseph Mathew has been named medical director of the respiratory care department. The Queens Village resident assumed this position following his completion of a fellowship in pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan.
