Timothy B. Glynn of East Setauket has been appointed to the board of directors at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson. He is a partner at the Stony Brook law firm of Glynn Mercep & Purcell, where he heads up the litigation department.
Stephen J. Silverberg has been elected president of the New York State chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Silverberg is an East Williston resident, and his law practice is in Roslyn Heights.
FINANCE
Evan Lieberman has been named store manager of the Broadhollow Road, Farmingdale branch of TD Bank. The Oceanside resident joins TD Bank from Capital One Bank in Garden City, where he served as branch manager.
Giambalvo, Stalzer & Co., a Great River accounting firm, announced two shareholder promotions.
George I. Victor of Huntington has been associated with the firm since 2009 and established its quality control department.
David T. Scheuer, an 11-year veteran of the firm, is in charge of the tax department and oversees all aspects of tax policies and compliance. He is a Northport resident.
LAW
Jessica Waters has joined Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone in Mineola as an associate. She was most recently associated with the New York City Law Department in Manhattan where she served as assistant corporation counsel. Waters lives in Huntington.
McCabe, Collins, McGeough & Fowler in Carle Place announced the addition of three associate attorneys to its litigation department and a partner promotion.
Michael Kelly held a similar position at Sobel & Kelly in Huntington and lives in Rockville Centre.
Scott Tirrell of Stony Brook was previously a partner at Turley Redmond & Rosasco in Ronkonkoma.
East Rockaway resident Scott Kagan has also been named an associate. He has been a law clerk at the firm since 2008.
Michael Smar has been promoted to partner. He has been an associate at the firm since 2005 and lives in Massapequa.

Jude Lyons has been appointed managing director of Westhampton Beach Real Estate, a company to which she is returning after two years at Fourth Neck Realty in East Quogue where she served as a sales agent. Lyons is a Quogue resident.
