Susan Katz Richman has been elected president of the Nassau County Bar Association. She will be the first court employee to serve in this position. The Merrick resident is principal court attorney for Nassau County Courts in Mineola.
James W. Reed has been named a legislative aide to Assemb. Harvey Weisenberg, who serves the Long Beach and Five Towns areas as a New York State legislator. Reed, an Oceanside resident, is a former Nassau County Deputy Commissioner of Consumer Affairs.
Adam P. Silvers has been appointed co-chair of the corporate and securities department at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek in Uniondale. The Commack resident, a partner at the firm, will share co-chair duties with senior partner Irvin Brum.
Kim Victor has been promoted from senior associate to managing attorney at Thaler & Gertler in East Meadow, heading the firm's litigation department. She concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial, general and bankruptcy litigation and lives in East Northport.
Dawn Ciano has joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's Babylon-Islip regional office as a sales agent. The Dix Hills resident most recently held a similar position at Century 21 American Homes in Wantagh.
Hans-Erik G. Aronson has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president, information technology, and chief information officer at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. The Manhattan resident has been director of information technology at the private, nonprofit institution since January 2008.
Natasha Hall has joined the Garden City accounting firm of Armao, Costa & Ricciardi as a senior accountant. The Hauppauge resident was most recently a senior audit specialist at La Sala CPA in Smithtown.
Margaret Eckel has been promoted to manager of accounting and compliance department at Briscoe Protective Systems in Centereach. The Fort Salonga resident was promoted from financial specialist.
Gregg Seibert has been named chief financial officer at Cablevision Systems Corporationin Bethpage, Newsday's parent company. This title is in addition to his current role as executive vice president. He lives in Manhattan.
Seymour Liebman has been named president of Canon Information and Imaging Solutions, a new wholly-owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A. in Lake Success. This new title will be in addition to his role as executive vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel of Canon U.S.A. He lives in West Hempstead.
