Lars Augustin has been promoted to senior associate from associate at Gannett Fleming Engineers in Woodbury. The Bellmore resident has been with the firm since 1996.

FINANCE

Christine Miller has been appointed as the first female partner at the Garden City accounting firm Janover. The Smithtown resident has been with the firm for more than 16 years, and has been principal since 2006.

LAW

Elizabeth C. Briand has been named associate at the Law Office of Stephen J. Silverberg in Roslyn Heights. The Forest Hills resident has been working at the firm as a law graduate since 2011.

Richard Finkel has been named senior counsel for Bond, Schoeneck & King in Garden City, where he will focus on labor and employment, municipal law, and land use and zoning. The New Hyde Park resident had been North Hempstead town attorney since 2004.

BOARDS/ASSOCIATIONS

The Nassau-Suffolk Council of Hospital Auxiliaries has announced changes to its leadership.

Uta Dee has been elected president. The Setauket resident is a member of the Stony Brook University Medical Center auxilian board and has served twice as the president of the Nassau-Suffolk council's auxilian board.

Terese Weber has been named first vice president. The Babylon resident is director of the Guilds of Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, and she is also secretary of the hospital's foundation board of trustees.

TECHNOLOGY

Ted Michaelis has been named a member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to the International Organization for Standardization's Technical Committee 176 on quality management and quality assurance (TAG ISO TC 176) and to the accredited standards committeeZ1 subcommittee (ASC Z1-Q). He will assist in creating standards in quality terminology, quality systems, and quality technology. The Nesconset resident is a senior project manager in quality management systems for The Long Island Forum for Technology.

REAL ESTATE

Saunders & Associates has added two new employees to its Bridgehampton office.

SunHe Sherwood-Dudley, of Water Mill, is an associate real estate broker. She previously was a licensed real estate broker at Town & Country Real Estate in Bridgehampton.

Pamela Stuart, of Bridgehampton, joins Saunders & Associates as a licensed real estate salesperson. She previously held the same title at Town & Country Real Estate in Bridgehampton.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Christina M. Barnett has joined ThePRFreelancer Inc. in Babylon as associate publicist. The Freeport resident is a recent college graduate. ThePRFreelancer is a public relations firm specializing in national publicity campaigns for book authors.
