Dr. Nick Fitterman of Northport has been elected governor of the American College of Physicians for the Long Island region. Fitterman is director of the hospitalist program and chief of staff at Huntington Hospital.

The Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center in Commack elected three new members to its board of directors.

Elizabeth Pollicino Murphy
has joined the Long Island campus of St. Joseph's College in Patchogue as director of the Callahan Library. She most recently was associate director of the division of library and information science at St. John's University and lives in Islip.

announced recent promotions and a new hire.

Bernard Dolington has been promoted to vice president and senior branch manager at the Hewlett location. The Plainview resident was assistant branch manager at the Rego Park location.

Charles Woehr has been promoted to vice president and senior branch manager at the Hauppauge location. He was branch manager and lives in Massapequa.

Michael Riviezzo has joined as branch manager in the Oceanside location. He was a private banker for wealth management at Wells Fargo Bank in Oceanside and lives in Great Neck.

Lisa Rutman Lombardi of East Northport has been promoted to vice president and senior branch manager at the Smithtown location, where she was branch manager.

Robert Castro joined Grassi & Co. as partner and will work from its Manhattan office. He was managing director at BDO USA financial services group in Manhattan and lives in Seaford.

Michael Burke has joined UHY Advisors NY in Manhattan as a managing director and partner. The Babylon resident was an audit partner at BDO USA in Manhattan.

John Spina has joined the Commack office as a sales agent. The Deer Park resident held a similar position with the National Real Estate Referral Group, a CBRB-affiliated referral company.
