David L. Mejias has been elected president of the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association. The Farmingdale resident, a former Nassau County legislator, is the founder of Mejias, Milgrim and Alvarado, a law firm with offices in Hempstead and Glen Cove.
TECHNOLOGY
Guy Sanfilippo has joined Data Storage Corp. in Garden City as director of sales engineering, a newly created position. The Massapequa Park resident was most recently director of information technology at the American Federation of Musicians and Employers' Pension Fund in Manhattan.
HUMAN RESOURCES
Kairy Marquez has been named benefits administrator at Alcott HR Group, a human resource servicing outsourcing company. Before joining the Farmingdale company, Marquez served as a benefits administrator at Perfumania Holdings in Bellport. She is a Holtsville resident.
ARCHITECTURE
Steven C. Hearl of Greenlawn has been promoted to vice president at H2M Architects + Engineers in Melville. He was promoted from associate, and department manager and has been with H2M's wastewater division for nearly 30 years.
