Dr. Edward Lundy has joined St. Francis Hospital's department of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, in Roslyn, as a cardiothoracic surgeon. He served as chief of the Active International Cardiovascular Institute at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, N.Y., and resides in Roslyn.

Jerry Owenburg has been elected to the board of trustees of The Firemen's Association of the state of New York, a specialized residential health care facility for retired volunteer firefighters in Hudson, N.Y. The West Babylon resident worked at the Town of Babylon Highway Department for 32 years and is a longtime member of the West Babylon Fire Department.
Michael A. H. Schoenberg has joined the board of trustees of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, Long Island chapter. The Bellmore resident is an associate in the commercial litigation department of Farrell Fritz in Uniondale.
