Yolanda Robano-Gross, a resident of Woodmere, has been appointed executive director of the board of directors at Options for Community Living in Smithtown. She was vice president of developmental disabilities, residential services at FEGS Health & Human Services in Copiague.

Robert M. Harper, a trusts and estates associate at the Uniondale law firm Farrell Fritz, has been appointed co-chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association Surrogate's Court Committee. The Garden City resident will serve a two-year term.
