Yolanda Robano-Gross, a resident of Woodmere, has been appointed executive director of the board of directors at Options for Community Living in Smithtown. She was vice president of developmental disabilities, residential services at FEGS Health & Human Services in Copiague.
Robert M. Harper, a trusts and estates associate at the Uniondale law firm Farrell Fritz, has been appointed co-chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association Surrogate's Court Committee. The Garden City resident will serve a two-year term.
Miriam Goldstein of Huntington Station has been appointed to the board of the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women in Melville. She is an integrated mind body health specialist at Stone to Water Therapeutics in Huntington Station.

Michael Pirozzi, of Sea Cliff, has been promoted to full-time program associate at The Retreat Suffolk County Fatherhood Initiative, in Hauppauge, a program of The Retreat. It assists at-risk fathers to prevent domestic violence and overcome challenges. He was a part-time program specialist.
