Dr. Miriam R. Robbins of Manhattan has been appointed chair of the dental medicine department at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola. She was associate chair of oral-maxillofacial pathology, radiology and medicine and director of the special-needs dental clinic at New York University College of Dentistry in Manhattan.
John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson recently hired two new staff directors.
Keri Dunne of Kings Park has been named director of volunteer services. She was volunteer coordinator at the Gurwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Commack.
