The East End is all a-buzz with the rumor that Ted Conklin is putting his famed American Hotel in Sag Harbor on the block, for possibly $25 million. What is not a rumor is that Conklin is selling two of his historic homes.

The two properties for sale, both on Division Street in the heart of Sag Harbor, are being offered separately for a total of $9 million.

The first home (above), built in the 1700s, sits on 1.25 acres and has seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two powder rooms, eight fireplaces, four parlors (yes, four) and a separate antique barn and a covered veranda. It is priced at $6.5 million.

The Rysam-Sleight House (left) built in 1820 on a half-acre with 3,500 square feet has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and four fireplaces and has a price tag of $2.5 million. There's room for a pool on the property.

“This is the most incredible opportunity in Sag Harbor in the last 30 years,” says Mala Sander of The Corcoran Group, who is listing the properties with Beate Moore of Sotheby's International Realty.

Ted Conklin did not return calls for comment.

Sander says both homes are currently being rented.
