For sale: Southold house at 'The End of the Road'
You can now own “The End of the Road.”
The charming 900-square-foot Southold house, as it is known, built in 1955. On the market for $350,000 to $399,000, it got its name from the fact that it is literally at the end of Founders Path. There is even a sign in front of the two-bedroom, one-bath house letting everyone know.
The property is just minutes from Founder’s Landing and a boat dockage and is listed with Carol Bohn of Beninati Associates.
“I went to the florist to get bows [for the sale] and the florist even remembered the house,” says Bohn. “She said it had been one of her favorites growing up.”
Bohn says she hopes future homeowners keep the sign.
