The former publisher of Newsday recently sold his Huntington home for $850,000, according to the Long Island Real Estate Report. Timothy P. Knight, who resigned last year after five years at the helm of the newspaper, listed the house in May for $895,000, according to real estate records. He and wife, Stephanie, purchased the four-bedroom, three-bath Colonial for $1.0925 million in 2006. The remodeled 1950 house is on 1.25 acres with an inground pool. Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty listed the house and brought the buyers.
