This house in the village of Westbury  —  listed at $209,000 as a short sale —  was built in 1874 and was one of three homes that made up the original Westbury School, says listing agent Mark Rienzie of Century 21 Laffey Associates in Westbury. The three-bedroom house was relocated in 1931 and is across the street from Westbury Middle School. A separate, 472-square-foot accessory building sits on the School Street property. Rienzie says the fixer-upper has been on the market since 2008. Taxes are listed at $7,127, with additional village taxes of about $730, Rienzie said.
