A 1925 Tudor home with many of its original features is on the market in Garden City for $1.24 million.

The four bedroom, 3 -bathroom home has a cathedral ceiling in the living room with wood beams. The dining room has a built-in china cabinet, says Kathleen Roberts of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty, who is co-listing the home with Marilyn Frey.

"Even the front door is the original 1925 leaded-glass door," Roberts says.

Outside of the home is a slate-and-brick patio overlooking evergreens and perennials.

Inside, the master bedroom is on the first floor, but the space could be used as an office or turned into a professional suite since it has a separate entrance, Roberts says.

The home was recently updated with a new roof, windows and new gas heating system.
