Anyone who's driven by Madonna's Bridgehampton property will notice something new -- hedges, and lots of them.

A spy emailed this snapshot of the land, which she recently bought in two big purchases -- the agricultural rights on 24 acres for $2.2 million and Wild Ocean Farm next door for $5 million.

Neighbor Benny Graboski figures her team has planted "a couple of thousand" hedges. He says they are eight- to 10-feet tall, plenty high to protect her from any photographer who might try to catch some snaps while she rides her horses.

"They'll take a couple of years to fill out nice, but they'll make a nice border," he says. "It'll help out a lot...She'll have lots of privacy."

He also says that a new electric gate has recently been installed on the property.
