'Mildred Pierce' to film at Locust Valley real estate office

No one knows if Kate Winslet will be there, but the folks at Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty confirm that HBO will film scenes for the upcoming miniseries "Mildred Pierce" Monday at its Locust Valley office at 1 Buckram Rd. "It's for a street scene," says a spokeswoman, who adds that the old house's wraparound porch will figure prominently.

The white house is one of Locust's Valley's original buildings and at various times had been a pub and a restaurant, she says.
