Alec Baldwin engaged to Hilaria Thomas

Alec Baldwin engaged to yoga instructor Massapequa native Alec Baldwin became engaged over the weekend to yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas, popping the question while visiting the East End, Newsday's Frank Lovece reports. "Yes, it's true!" Baldwin's spokesman, Matthew Hiltzik, said Monday. "Alec proposed to Hilaria this weekend and we're all excited for the newly engaged couple. Alec's birthday is tomorrow -- great way to celebrate!" Baldwin turns 54 Tuesday. This will be the first marriage for Thomas, 28, who works for Yoga Vida in Manhattan. Baldwin's 1993 marriage to actress Kim Basinger ended in divorce.
