Actor Alec Baldwin and his wife, author and podcaster Hilaria Baldwin, have welcomed their seventh child together.
"She's here! We are so excited to introduce you to our tiny dream come true," wrote Hilaria Baldwin, 38, on Instagram Saturday, giving the infant's name as Ilaria Catalina Irena Baldwin, the birth date as Thursday and the birth weight as 6 pounds, 13 ounces. "Both she and I are happy and healthy. Her Baldwinito siblings are spending the day bonding and welcoming her into our home."
She added, "Much love to you all. We are so happy to celebrate this wonderful news with you."
Accompanying the text was as montage of still and video images of mother and child; of the newborn being held by her siblings; and of Alec Baldwin, 64, holding up his arm to display an evident ink footprint of the baby. The three-time Emmy Award winner, who was born in Amityville and raised in Massapequa, reposted his wife's message on his own Instagram account.
"Congratulations! Welcome to the world baby Baldwin," commented actor-comedian Caroline Rhea at Hilaria Baldwin's post. Others offering congratulations on one or the other of the parents' Instagram accounts included actors Frances Fisher, David Krumholtz, Debi Mazar, Michelle Pfeiffer, Amy Sedaris, Lesley Ann Warren and Commack-raised Hofstra University graduate Julie Halston, as well as former "Saturday Night Live" star Cheri Oteri and music legend Stephen Stills.
The couple, who had endured two miscarriages in 2019, also are the parents of daughters Carmen, 8, and Maria Lucia, nicknamed Marilu, 1, and sons Rafael, 7, Leonardo, 6, Romeo, 4, and Eduardo, 2. Alec Baldwin additionally has a daughter, model Ireland Baldwin, 26, with his Oscar-winner ex-wife, Kim Basinger.
Alec Baldwin remains embroiled in an investigation into a fatal accidental shooting in October on the New Mexico set of his Western film "Rust."
