Carrie Underwood tweets 'Labor' Day announcement
SingerCarrie Underwood appeared to announce that she and her husband, Nashville Predators hockey player Mike Fisher, are expecting their first child, Newsday contributor Frank Lovece reports. In a Twitter posting Monday, the "American Idol" winner turned country-music star posed with the couple's two dogs and wrote, "In honor of 'Labor' Day . . . Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier!" Underwood, 31 -- whose most recent studio album, the platinum-record "Blown Away" (2012), debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart -- and Fisher, 34, married in 2010.
